Located on Lomse Island in central Kaliningrad, this project revives a lost 19th-century residential layer to enhance spatial diversity by merging historical features with modern architecture and integrating public spaces into private territory. The layout recreates the quarter structure seen on the 1815 Königsberg map,
where internal pedestrian streets between Vorder Lomse and Hinter Lomse inspire a network of dual-facade buildings, clear public-private boundaries, and active public fronts.

The site adapts historical parceling into 12 physically independent, numbered lots for phased construction. Vehicle access from General Karbyshev Embankment and Solnechny Boulevard routes directly to an underground passage beneath the pedestrian promenade, leading to single-level parking under each block to completely separate traffic from pedestrians.

Architecturally, first-floor volumes trace former building outlines to house commercial and public functions, topped with interconnected resident terraces and galleries. Transverse firewall walls mark original building placements, establishing a visual contrast that synthesizes historical density with modern living.
